Everyone is a leader, of their own life
Everyone is a leader of their own life. Yes, it is true! The happiest and successful people are the ones who know exactly why there are here, what they want to do and how they want to do it.
I cannot say it more often but I will! The happiest and successful people are the ones who know exactly why there are here, what they want to do and how they want to do it. And yet, I meet so many people who are not living their life according to their wishes of a happy and successful life.
So I will break it down to you in a quick summary:
- WHY
WHY: the highest level of personal and company values. What is the vision, mission and values? What is the life purpose?
- HOW
HOW: what are the plan and/or strategy of execution of the WHY. How does a person want to achieve that vision, mission and life purpose?
- WHAT
WHAT: what are the actions taken within the HOW to embody the WHY. What is that person going to do to make sure it is achieved?
I know, this sounds very familiar. Yes, it is. Simon Sinek said it before. The most asked question people ask me is: but how do I find out what my WHY is? The best advice I can give you is to back to the values, explain what they mean and try to make a connection to SMART experiences that made them happy. It is a great indicator of starting a journey of finding out what the WHY is. It also gives a good impression on the HOW and the WHAT in the past of that person.
Courage
Last but not least, it takes tremendous courage to find all of this out. The person going into that journey will have difficult times because they will experience also the bad experiences as well. Just remember that good and bad experiences are needed to find out what really is important. They will tell what really does and does not make a person happy and feel successful in their life.
Bon, voyage!
