Amrita set up a project plan including a gap analysis of the current situation and the desired situation. Quantitative research was conducted by the use of HR and financial data. Qualitative data was found in in-depth interviews with already left employees and remaining employees.
Amrita presented results to the project team consisting of Board, HR and several departmental employees. The first solution was to create a whole new department: Recruitment. The second was to set up a specific recruitment website with information about what it was like to work at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. The basic information was of course needed as in structure, culture, compensation, and benefits and as high light employee stories in vlog and blog like setting. Amrita also noticed the recruitment procedure was out of date, it needed to become more digital and E-recruitment was suggested. Amrita also suggested a trainee project. The final recommendation was to train employees in the standard of conduction job interviews and how to use the E-recruitment system. Amrita was given permission to go ahead with all suggestions, the budget was made available.
